What do boys like to do when they are between 2 & 3 years old?
What kind of toys should I have for our little man?
Here are a few of the things we have so far:
A toy cell phone.
A kiddie sized backpack.
We also have a lot of stuffed animals and a lot of dolls. We have a kitchen center and a few electronic games (singing catepillars, etc, but I do believe those will be off limits to Samuel at the beginning as they belong to Eva-Lynn. (Which segways nicely into a topic for the next post - Sibling Rivalry).
I'll give you a few days to help me out on this one......

Nous avons la petite croix d'Eva et attendons votre visite avec impatience. Marine voudrait que ce soit là, maintenant...,«c'est trop long d'attendre» dit-elle.
À bientôt!

I think you don't have to worry too much. My kids play with both things. I know my boys did really like toy cars at that age, as well as building blocks. THey also like "tool stuff". Home Depot has some great screwdrivers, hammers, and stuff like that for little ones. Love your new blog. We just got home yesterday so I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Talk to you later!
We are very excited for you guys in the anticipation of Samuel's arrival! Boys like anything that can be held and manipulated in the way that it is not intended! We did alot of 'safety-proofing' with Zach at that age and he managed to undo/wreck any safety mechanisms that we had in place. With having a Sister the same age, you may have to buy things in '2's, even if it is a play stroller or baby since at that age sharing isn't always the easiest thing to do! Eva can keep her own toys in a special 'Eva' box so that she doesn't get overwhelmed with Samuel taking her things. Zach's favorite toy was duplo blocks so that he could build towers and knock them over. 'Pull'toys were also a favorite.
Your blog is a fabulous idea!

Lots and lots of toy cars, a little carpet for the toy cars, books (all three of mine love books), did I mention toy cars?
Stuffed toys aren't big with mine, btw. Going outside is big, very big in our house - so any outside toys are great (like a rake, or a shovel, or sticks of any kinds, balls, bicycles or riding little cars that they can go 100 mph in, turn quickly to the left before they go into the street and scare your momma with... well you get the picture).
