We're Home

Yes, we made it home WITHOUT INCIDENT! Yeah, Yeah, Yeah! Everything went as smoothly as two days of non-stop traveling could go and tonight we sleep in our own little beds. Jean-Pierre and the kiddies are actually already in their little beds, but since I slept so much on the plane on the way home, I'm still up. My goodness, it is such a treat to be in a room (the office) all by myself. I have to say though, it is a little strange not to have my mom under the same roof.
Both my sisters and their families were at the airport to meet us. Dad was also there as were some good friends of ours. Jie-Jie was happy to meet everyone and he love, love, loved the balloons.

After we got our bags and made it home, the family dropped by our place with pizza and corn chips. It was so nice to let someone else figure out what we were going to eat tonight for a change and to end up with something we totally recognized! :-).

So glad you made it home without incident! If you had been flying into Toronto or Montreal, you would have been welcomed by 20-30 cm of snow with freezing rain thrown in for good measure. Did you weep with joy when you saw the "Welcome to Canada" sign?

I'm up too at 3:43 am with Kaitlynn who has a nasty, nasty cold. Probably go to the clinic tomorrow as I think its gone into her lungs. I will tell her all about Mingxie's flight home tomorrow morning!

Welcome home!!!!

How wonderful that all went so smoothly! Imagine that! :) Good sign!!!!!!:)))

I couldn't be happier for you guys and will be thinking of you as you settle into family life AT HOME! Whooohooo!

You must be so thrilled to have your two little ones home, together at long last. The attaching and adjusting has gone so well for you guys, but I imagine that a sense of their own belongings and personal space will do Sam and Eva well too.

So glad that you are home! Enjoy every moment (I know you do!).

Hugs,

Jen

P.S. I wished so much that we could have been there to see you home! (And video for you!!!!) We were there in thoughts and prayers though! Welcome home! xo

Home. Lovely. So glad it went without incident (and you slept on the plane!). You deserved as much.

I have to say that your mom seemed to be a real trooper through the whole trip. She must be exhausted.

We'll all be waiting to hear about the next chapter.

:)

WELCOME HOME!!!

So glad your trip home was peaceful and without incident. Enjoy it all as you settle in with your new little man and his siter. Sounds like Eve is delighted with her brother.

I love the way you embraced it all with such verve. Taking in as much of China as you could. Good for you.

Keep the news coming. And enjoy a little rest!!
